Here's the word from the PA Horticultural Society:
Hi Holly,
Sorry if the judges didn't explain things to you. Normally we have a preliminary judging in July and then all the top scoring gardens are included in a final round of judging in August. However, because we only have a handful of parks entered in the competition, we have only one judging. Winners will receive a letter in early September along with an invitation to our Awards Reception on October 1st at the Kimmel Center. Will be looking forward to meeting you there.
